Minutes of May 13, 2025 Meeting

The monthly meeting was called to order and instructed to start the tape recorder by Chairman, Matthew Robison, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 5:00 pm, as advertised, at the township building in Wind Ridge, PA. All rose to pledge the flag. Supervisors present, Matthew W. Robison, Charles Kiger & Thomas Chess III. Secretary-Deborah Penska.

PRESENT: Jimmy Helphenstine, Charlie Day, Buz Headley, Marty Dinsmore, Mary Jane Kent, Donnie Jacobs & John Day

MOTION to approve April 1, 2025 minutes and place on file by Charles Kiger. Second by
Thomas Chess III. All in favor.

MOTION made to approve April, 2025 treasurer’s report and place on file by Charles Kiger. Second by Thomas Chess III. All in favor.

PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS:

OLD BUSINESS:

Matt called the county about how many children from Richhill Twp. attend the county day
camp. The county’s response was not very many. Given that many do not attend, no donation will be made.

NEW BUSINESS:

  1. MOTION by Matthew Robison to obtain K2 Engineering as primary building inspection company. Second by Charles Kiger. All in favor.
  2. MOTION by Thomas Chess Ill to advertise for 40,000 gallon of E-3 Emulsion Oil and 1,500 ton (more or less) of 1B-(#8) Aggregate. Second by Charles Kiger. All in favor.

ACTION ON BILLS:

MOTION by Matthew Robison to approve & pay all bills. Second by Charles Kiger. All in
favor.

OTHER CORRESPONDENCE OR BUSINESS:

Matt mentioned that the water company is flushing the hydrant at the ball park. They will be running it until the next day.

PUBLIC COMMENT:

Charlie Day asked about the grader being used this year. Marty mentioned dogs running
loose in the playground, chickens running loose in the yard, anybody living in the camper parked in the alley and the Todd house. Items will be addressed with owners. Buz asked about advertising. How do companies get the information, etc. Township sends bid packets to regular bidders. Donnie mentioned seeing a long haired boy around town, getting out into traffic.
